Different surfaces need different cleaning methods. We select the safest and most effective approach for the material, the condition of the building and the result required.
Render, K-Rend, cladding, painted walls
Most rendered and painted surfaces respond better to treatment than force. We apply the correct cleaning solution, allow it time to break down algae and staining, then rinse at low pressure. This cleans the surface thoroughly without cutting into the render, damaging the finish or leaving obvious pressure marks behind.
Stone, brickwork and older buildings
For older or more delicate masonry, we use controlled specialist cleaning rather than aggressive pressure. DOFF uses superheated water, while TORC is suited to more persistent deposits and coatings. Both methods allow us to remove staining carefully while protecting the face of the brick or stone and the mortar between it.
Glass, curtain walling and cladding panels
Filtered water is delivered through a telescopic pole, allowing large areas of glass and cladding to be cleaned safely from ground level. Because the water contains no minerals or detergent, it dries naturally without leaving soap residue, streaks or a dull film across the surface.
Car parks, forecourts, paths and block paving
Pressure washing works extremely well on hard surfaces when the pressure is properly controlled. We adjust the equipment to suit the material, clean evenly and manage the dirty water as we work. It is an effective choice for concrete and paving, but it is never treated as the answer for every surface.

We work out-of-hours to ensure your building is cleaned with no inconvenience. Whilst we do most of our work in areas like Preston, Lancashire, Chester, Cheshire, Liverpool and elsewhere in the Merseyside area, we are willing and able to travel to other UK areas too.

In most situations, our highly-trained staff are able to carry out the cleaning of your cladded or rendered building from ground level. This helps to minimize health and safety risks, and it also keeps costs down.

The building cleaning can be carried out using our powered access platforms (also known as “cherry pickers”). All of our staff are IPAF trained & certified. It’s vital to carry out building cleaning at regular intervals. This is the only reliable way to help prevent damage, which could become a far more costly affair in the future.
We are aware that, whether it’s a commercial or residential property, your building is an incredibly valuable asset to you. That is why we take care to expose it to the least possible risk as we carry out our exterior cleaning.
We have seen firsthand the damage caused by untrained operatives or the use of unsuitable machines or chemicals. All of our staff have been trained in using the right chemicals and equipment for the job, and are IPAF trained and certified.

We don’t subcontract, and we don’t send a different crew to the one you spoke to. The person who quotes the job is involved in doing it, because a quote only makes sense if the same judgement carries through on site.

Most of what we do is worked from the ground on poles, or off a powered access platform where the height needs it. That usually saves more than the cleaning costs.
It gets contained and taken away. Drains covered, run-off collected, silt removed.
We’d rather your neighbours never knew we’d been. A fair bit of our work comes from people watching us on someone else’s house, so leaving a mess behind would cost us more than it saved.
Depends on the time of year. Spring and early autumn are the busy ones, so it’s usually a few weeks.
We won’t squeeze you in and rush it. When we give you a date, that’s the day we’re on your building and we’re not juggling two other jobs at the same time.
5 million public liability, plus contractors all risks. We’ll send both certificates over with the quote without being asked.
We’re also PA1, PA6 and PA6AW certificated for the treatments we apply, and City & Guilds qualified. If your procurement process needs anything else like method statement, RAMS, proof of competence tell us what format you want it in.
