Some businesses fall into exterior cleaning. Chris Spruce built his around understanding it.
When Chris founded the company in the late 2000s, he spotted something most property owners and facilities managers hadn’t yet realised: the North West of England has a damp, overcast climate that actively encourages algae, moss, and organic growth on render, roofs, brickwork, and cladding, and almost nobody was tackling it properly. Most cleaning firms were blasting surfaces with high-pressure water and calling it done. The growth came back within months. The render got damaged. The clients got frustrated.
Chris took a different approach. He studied the science behind why organic growth appears in the first place, the role of wall insulation in moisture retention, how diurnal temperature cycles affect render, why north-facing surfaces stain faster, and which treatments actually prevent regrowth rather than just removing it temporarily. That understanding is still at the core of everything we do today.
Location
We’re a Southport-based business and proud of it. Our vans cover Merseyside and Lancashire daily, from Liverpool in the south to Preston in the north, and across to Wigan, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Formby, and everywhere in between.

We use superheated low-pressure steam to clean listed buildings, heritage stonework, and sensitive masonry without causing the surface damage that standard pressure washing risks.

We clean macadam, polymeric, and artificial grass courts using low-pressure treatments that restore playability and remove slip hazards without lifting lines or damaging coatings.
